Lunch Time Rush
Small prototype / proof of concept for a Overcooked inspired tower defense game made during my spare time.
Comment if you think the main game play loop is worth pursuing or if you have any ideas on any mechanics that you would find interesting to implement.
Also comment about any bugs that you encounter during the prototype!
Controls
Key | Action | Description |
Movement | WASD | |
Sprint | Left-Shift | Hold L-shift while moving to run for a few seconds. |
Interact | Spacebar | When near a food tower / food station, use spacebar to interact. |
Left Mouse Button | Throw | While carrying a food tower, hold Left Mouse Button to throw the tower in the direction where the mouse is pointing. |
Objective
Prevent the customer from leaving the restaurant hungry!
You can tell what they want based on the thought bubble above their head.
Feed them by placing the corresponding food towers to satiate them.
Make sure to place the towers on the anchors (small black square on the floor) for them to shoot.
However as the tower shoots it loses ammo.
Make sure to refill the tower by going to the fridge/food station and using the interact key to acquire a refill box. Afterwards run back to the food tower you wish to refill and interact with it.
Keep your restaurant from going out of business!
